Major projects such as Cross River Rail will soon start to transform the Brisbane CBD as we know it.

IAQ and Arup are partnering with the Cross River Rail Delivery Authority (CRRDA) to take a unique and interactive look at how city shaping projects like Cross River Rail can change the nature of the traditional CBD as we know it.

Hear from the CEO of CRRDA, Graeme Newton and Arup’s Australasia Cities Leader, Dr Tim Williams (online from Sydney) as they discuss:

  • The latest progress on construction of Cross River Rail
  • Cross River Rail’s Precinct Delivery Strategy and an update on the development opportunities at each station location
  • The changing nature of CBD’s as destinations and life beyond the worker economy
  • The importance of walkability and active transport in place making
  • Interconnectivity and the missing projects that will help stitch SEQ together

Coffee/tea and light breakfast provided.

Access Dr Tim Williams presentation HERE.
